Ich habe eine Antwort von PS bekommen.
Meine Frage an PS:
"I'm sorry I have to bother you again. I can't stop thinking about the issue with the suspension travel limiter. I took a closer look at everything again. In one of the pictures, there's a disc made of very firm foam visible on the chrome rod of the shock absorber, and above that, a thin metal washer. This limiter is a closed ring that cannot be removed. In the other picture, there's an additional suspension travel limiter (No. 5021-005) visible. It's made of very hard plastic and can be clipped onto or removed from the rod - it has a lateral opening. I removed it so I could take a closer look. I think in your last message, you were talking about the permanently installed limiter that cannot be removed. If I remove the suspension travel limiter (No. 5021-005), I can compress the shock absorber to 238mm, as listed in your details. Could you please give me some information on this?"
Antwort:
"I was referring to both, by removing it you are allowing more travel which would seem like a good idea… but the reason the limiter is there would be due to clearance again we do not recommend removing it."
Fazit:
