Hallo Forum,
leider kann mir Joe von Symtec nicht so recht helfen, siehe Maildialog unten.
Deshalb die Frage, ob ich den Sensor entfernen kann, ohne die Funktion des Teils zu beeinträchtigen.
Weiß das jemand?

"The sensor is what controls your throttle. You will need to unplug it to remove it. I would suggest a service manual to do this.
Best Regards,
Joe
thx, is the sensor necessary for normal operation of the vehicle?
Can I remove it without any problem of malfunction?
It is if you want to make sure the 22.23 mm is the same to the depth of 152mm.
You will need to remove the sensor anyways to install the heater element.
ok, I could remove it, but is it not necessary?
The images aren’t real clear but it looks like you still have the TBW sensor inside the bar. This needs to be removed before measuring.
the internal diameter is about 22mm, but the depth doesn’t seem to match the
requires as it is only like 2cm, please see attached pics.
Do you think it will work anyway?
Regards
Sure,
Id of the handlebar should be 22.23mm X 152mm. Remember: This only needs to be true on the throttle side.
Our heaters are designed to work with the TBW.
Best Regards,
Joe
Hi Joe,
thanks for your reply.
Could you please give me the specs in metrics?
The bike already has the “throttle by wire”.
Does that affect the installation?
Regards

Hi,
You will want to make sure to order the 1 ¼” kit.
Also measure the Inside diameter on the throttle side of the handlebar. It needs to be .875” X 6” deep.
If not, you will need to ream it out to that spec.
Best Regards,
Joe

Hi there,
one question: Are your grip heaters compatible with my 2008 HD-Road-King
CVO-cycle?
Please note that the handlebars are somehow special in size, diameter and
look.
If you like to have a look let me know. I will be pleased to send a picture.
Thx in advance.
Regards"
